Landscape architect Dave Rolston sent me these great "before and after" garden shots for some smaller moderns, which were featured on the recent AIA tour. I included the images and text from the AIA brochure because I thought they were so informative together.

So many mid-century moderns have backyard pools that look dated, and people tend to leave them dated in order to preserve the integrity of the original architecture. Too bad. But I love what Dave did here, and it looks like such a simple fix, and kind of boutique hotel-ish, which is a good thing.
