Larry Gustafson, former Dallas Justice Department lawyer turned professional photographer and blogger has an interesting post on his site. The Associated Press is suing the artist who created this now-famous poster of Obama from a copy-righted photo. Gustafson raises some interesting parallels. "Appropriation of another's art is common and may be how art evolves and grows. Think of Warhol's Marilyns."
