Dallas Showroom Owner Cory Pope's New Table Design for Jonathan Franc

The Mavan dining table, Designed by Cory Pope for Jonathan Franc, $9,840

Good Deeds . . . Dallas showroom owner Cory Pope has designed a custom table in glass, bronze, and metal, for the California-based furniture maker Jonathan Franc. It's a part of Franc's Design Gives Back philanthropic collaboration with top interior designers, and a portion of the proceeds from the table will go to Pope's charity of choice, Texas Casa.

Bravo’s “Million Dollar Designer” Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, and HGTV’s Erinn Valencich have also designed furniture for Franc's charitable collaboration (see their designs below, and their chosen charities). Cory Pope will be selling all of the made-to-order furniture designs from Design Gives Back in his showroom.

Antique Venini chandeliers were Pope's inspiration for the Marvan Table

Cory Pope's inspiration for the Mavan dining table, he says, was taken from antique Venini chandeliers, shown above. I think Pope's Mavan dining table references the best of Italian design, from the sexiness of old Murano glass to the Brutalism of Milanese architecture of the 30s. What do you think?
