I enjoyed waking up to these green and white hydrangeas, and thought you might, too. I snapped this photo bedside last night before the light completely faded. It gets dark so early now! Don't you love how the light feels so moody in this image? What I like about it are all the textural contrasts --the crystal lamp, the raffia headboard, and the swirling clouds on the Japanese specimen vase. The wall behind it is textured (I don't like that), but I do like the color (Bay Laurel from Restoration Hardware -- which is exactly the color of old celadon Chinese porcelains). Hope you're having a great morning!
